Jeb Bush out of race before Christmas (inside source)

Here is a heartwarming not-so-blind item about the failing campaign of low-energy Jeb Bush, from Blind Gossip:

- - - - -

This politician is feeling the pressure of the GOP Presidential race.

A source close to his campaign tell us:

You won’t hear anybody from [the campaign] say it out loud, but he is panicking. It kind of sucks, but he really doesn’t handle pressure well. He just doesn’t have the stomach for it. Good at whining and crying. Not so good at fighting.

Does he have enough money to hold out?

[The financial situation is] not good. There isn’t as much there as people think. If he drops out, the big money goes back to the Super PACS, and he’s burning through the rest of it so fast, we don’t think there will be much of anything left.

So, is he going to drop out before the next debate?

No, he will be participating in the next debate, but he’s been given a number to reach [in the polls]. If he doesn’t jump 4 full points in the next six weeks, it’s over, and he’s done by Christmas. It would be too embarrassing for him to get killed in the primaries.

Throughout October, Jeb was polling between 5-8%, meaning the money men want him to break into double digits -- he hasn't been that high since July, and has only steadily fallen since the Trump machine kicked into high gear. He stinks at live debates because he's easily flummoxed and flubs all of his would-be one-liners. So, there's no hope left for him.

Stick a fork in the Bush family -- they're done! All Trump has to do now is cook Hillary's goose, and the Clinton dynasty will come to an end as well. Truly an unbelievable time for the American people, all thanks to the Trumpinator.

  2. So I take it you think Carson's lead over Trump will ultimately prove temporary?

  3. Trump has been dominant so far, and some show flip-flopping between him and Carson nationally. The most predictive polls are New Hampshire and South Carolina, where Trump is crushing Carson. The Iowa poll is not predictive, lately going to someone who did *not* get the nomination -- Carson in this case.

  4. It could just have easily been leaked by a disgruntled campaign staffer who is upset because, understandably, Jeb Bush is yelling at his campaign workers.

  5. Looks like the Chamber of Commerce has rigged the election the votes of Hispanics in the Bronx count 43 times as much as whites in Alabama.

  6. Don't let your jubilation that Yeb is on the way out (justified) cloud your mind about Trump's chances to beat Hillary (infinitesimal). You know damn well there are too many "stakeholders" dependent on Dem largesse for that to ever happen. And that's assuming a clean election. What makes you thing BLM won't simply trash Republican absentee ballots in any important state if it looksike it would be close?

  7. Too many stakeholders dependent on Dem largesse also prevented Eisenhower from ending the New Deal run of Democrat presidents -- for two terms! Also prevented Nixon from ending the Great Society bullshit of LBJ. For that matter, all those stakeholders prevented Hubert Humphrey from getting the nomination instead of the Great Society architect himself, who totally was not forced out of the race for re-election.

Take off your tin foil hat, it'll help your brain breathe better.

  8. BTW, assuming anything did conspire to rob Trump of his rightful nomination, given his polls, it would be the GOP establishment, GOP donors, and GOP-friendly media -- not anyone from the Dems.

  9. Are you on drugs? Who said anything about Trump not getting the nomination? And what percentage of the population was on welfare in 1952? How much AFDC ws there in 1956? How many loans had the SBA made to Koreans in 1964? Which Great Society program did Nixon end? Jeez.

  10. Welfare was much larger back in the '50s than today, both in terms of the percent of the population receiving it, and how much on average they got (adjusted for inflation).

Slashing the social safety net didn't begin in earnest until the '80s and especially the '90s. "Sorry we sent most of your jobs overseas and brought in hordes of foreigners to replace you at the remaining full-time jobs here. Rather than get a padded landing, how about you work three part-time jobs to receive assistance?"

  11. But in the drug-addled minds of the Me Generation, it's always the Seventies, with government largesse so overflowing you have to make your way around in a rowboat, and where slashing what remains of the social safety net makes you an underdog anti-Establishment rebel.

  12. "Welfare was much larger back in the '50s than today ..."

That's just kooky talk. In California today, kids get three free meals at public school. Parents no longer have to pay for groceries. Then there's free cell phone plan, help with utilities, section 8 rent subsidies, free health care (e.g. baby delivery that would cost Bob & Carol $20k). Come on people, Agnostic isn't a cult leader is he?
