Tranny fakeness revealed by Bruce Jenner's inauthentic nom de poon "Caitlyn"

I dropped by Blind Gossip to learn that Kim Kardashian is upset at someone named Caitlyn Jenner for upstaging her news about being pregnant again, on account of landing the cover of Vanity Fair.

"Caitlyn" Jenner? Never heard of that one before, let's just have a look and see why her cover shoot would be such an — OHHH MY GAAAHD.

Everybody's cracking jokes about the name because it's so ridiculously young for a 65 year-old. There was a Caitlin in my grade, but she was ahead of the curve; it's a distinctly Millennial name (so is anything with -lynn or -line).

If Bruce wanted to pass as authentic, why not choose some Boomer name like Brenda or Barbara? I'll bet he was thinking of Briana, another distinctly Millennial name, but thought better of making his new name sound too similar to the old one.

Choosing a currently trendy name is common among performers who are assuming an alternate persona.

Take '80s dance-pop singer Taylor Dayne — she has yet another distinctly Millennial name, but she was really born Leslie Wunderman in 1962. Taylor was a popular baby girl's name in 1987 when she hit it big. Leslie Wunderman wanted to sound young and trendy, so she jumped on the Taylor bandwagon.

Young women trying to make a name for themselves in porno also go with what's trendy, even if it means a 20 year-old having the name of a small child — Aubrey, Chloe, Isabella, etc. But all the action in naming fashions takes place among mothers of newborns, so striving for trendiness will make your name sound juvenile, even if you're already fairly young to begin with.

Back to Bruce Jenner, these other examples show that he's just acting out as a performer who's whoring for attention from an audience. It's all a great put-on, and he knows it.

If he had always truly felt as though he were female, he would've chosen a secret female name way back in the day, and it would necessarily sound old all these years later. But he picked "Caitlyn" yesterday, not when he was a kid.

For all we know, he's been cycling through secret female names for decades, swapping out the old ones according to fashion — Chrissy Jenner in the '80s, Lauren Jenner in the '90s, Ashley Jenner in the 2000s, and now Caitlyn Jenner. What a pathetically unconvincing fraud and weirdo.

  1. Watch it, your talking about the future Arthur Ashe courage award winner. Not sure what she did to deserve this award but I'll have to tune in to ESPN to find out

  2. That second 'y' is a nice perverse touch. How do people look at this weirdo without projectile vomiting? I'm Team TERF on this one.

  3. A (24yr old) girl I know named Caitlin changed Facebook profile picture to a purposely bad photoshop of her head on Bruce Jenner's body. Good for a laugh.

  5. What are the odds that Bruce commits suicide within five years?

IMO Boomer transsexualism is all about fear of death. That is why those guys in their 50's are doing it, they feel Death coming and are deluding themselves into believing that they will be "reborn" as a woman.

Of course they are neither being reborn, nor becoming a woman, but their fear of death is so great, because they have no faith, and their narcissistic needs are so strong (they know that they are disturbing their friends and family, but that doesn't deter them because they are so self-centered) that they get the surgery because it's an intense experience that it allows them to pretend that they are being "reborn," at least for a while.

  6. Never ones to retire, the Boomers are always "re-inventing" themselves, with Bruce Jenner pursuing his "encore career" as a drag queen.

  7. To understand masculine heterosexual transsexuals like Jenner, Google 'autogynephilia' or check out Alice Dreger's new book Galileo’s Middle Finger:

Her anti-activist phase began when she decided to defend the research psychologist J. Michael Bailey, who created a firestorm with a 2003 book titled “The Man Who Would Be Queen.” The book, based on well-supported, peer-reviewed research by him and others, argued that some men want to change sex not simply because they are “born trapped in the wrong body,” as Dreger describes the common view, but because they were sexually aroused by the idea of themselves as women.

Eh, I don't buy that. I agree with Agnostic's original theory that they do it for attention - a result of having a Peter Pan syndrome.

I'm not sure if Bruce Jenner fits the profile of a typical transsexual, in this case it might just be a PR stunt.

  10. Here is my theory. Bruce/Caitlin really, really hates Kris Jenner. Now this is kind of an extreme thing to do to embarrass her but that is one huge side benefit. If Brutlin thought that Kris would love this switch then I don't think it would happen.

  11. By any measure, as trolling behaviour it's pretty extreme.

  12. I'm reminded of that scene in the movie "Real Men", where Jim Belushi explains to John Ritter how his old, retired father decided to have a sex change in order to live the rest of his life as a "woman".

Jenner starred in a super homoerotic movie (Can't Stop the Music) in 1980. He's dabbled in weird stuff before.

I agree that it's PR related, but then again, we're talking about mental illness. Something's gone wrong in his head, but what? I still think these people have a choice, but they are so narcissistic or psychopathic that they choose to do screwed up things anyway. How they choose to express their dysfunction varies; the worst ones end up raping and killing people.

I'm not sure what being infantile has to do with getting a sex change. Gays are more infantile, yes. But I think Bruce Jenner would be accepted as a regular masculine guy if he chose to act normally. He was a successful athlete and has had several children by different woman. I can accept a homo having a little sex with a beard to get kids and fit better into society. But I can't see a total fag having several kids with different women.Closet cases like Lindsey Graham sometimes don't even get married these days.

I don't think Jenner is very infantile or gay (though obviously a weirdo like him may have experimented); I think he's got an extreme neurosis driving him to do anything he can to stay in the spotlight. I'm not sure he's getting off on being a women per se as much as he's getting off on the attention.

If you want to talk about closeted celeb athletes, look at Magic Johnson. His voice, face, mannerisms, everything, totally gay. He swore in the early 90's that he got AIDS from a woman. Sure. Male athletes in the 80's and 90's had tons of sex. How was he the only one to get non blood transfusion related AIDS?

Carl Lewis is another 70's/80's athlete who's a flamer. He was so effete that he lost or couldn't get sponsorships during the peak of his career. Jenner was a hero in the 70's; very famous and nobody questioned his virility.

It's telling, both in terms of Jenner's character and the changes being imposed by the striving Me Gen in the 70's, that Jenner retired from competition early and then he and his agent were figuring how to make as much money as possible.

They perceive that women get more attention, so they think if they become a woman, they'll get more attention and more privileges.

  16. Jenner talked about becoming "Aunt Heather" to his kids in the 80s.

  17. I wonder how many gay men have thought about this surgery. I'm not talking about seeing a doctor, just a passing thought. If you thought about it for even a couple of minutes, you probably aren't going to react like agnostic. I also keep wondering if any of Bruce's kids have friends named Caitlyn. Now, that would be weird.

  18. "Jenner talked about becoming "Aunt Heather" to his kids in the 80s."

In the Reagan era, anyone with a lick of sense didn't even consider something as deranged as getting a sex change. There certainly were a lot horrible deviant killers and rapists prowling about in the 80's, but if anything, the presence of so many scumbags strengthened the resolve of normal people to be normal.

Tattoos, piercings, heavy facial hair, poorly fitting clothes, etc. were out of fashion in the 80's. Only a small handful of transplant heavy, ultra liberal areas like SF and NY tolerated this sort of "alternative" (aka unhealthy and anti social) style in the 80's. By the mid 90's, this sort of barbarian/nihilist chic would be popular everywhere.

"I wonder how many gay men have thought about this surgery."

The majority of gay dudes look and act infantile, not feminine. They hate the sissy stereotype, most gays have really short hair to look "tougher" (nice try). More hair makes you look more mature though, so a lack of hair ironically makes gays look more kiddie.

The disgust directed at gays for being girly never really made much sense since no one feels hostile towards girls for being, uh, girly.

Whether people realize it or not (Steve Sailer doesn't) , gay males are the most hated people not because of gender issues, but because gays are so so developmentally stunted. People joke about lesbians, but lesbians seem more mature so society isn't as hostile towards them. Gays are more psychopathic than other groups also. Men in particular can sense that something is just off about gays. Which is way gay kids usually end up being shunned by straight males.

A lot of PC BS you see in post '92 culture is driven by autistic/angsty Jews and Homos (some guys are both like David Geffen and Bryan Singer) getting revenge on straight white gentiles who supported a "repressive" society that looked down on narcissism, greed, and self-indulgence. It got worse after '92 since everyone had entered a cocooned stupor by then. People hated being lectured about "homophobia" in the 80's.

I do agree though that, obviously, gays are more likely to consider doing something as insane as gettting castrated. But I don't think Jenner is gay. Nuts, yes, gay, no.

    >gay males are the most hated people not because of gender issues, but because gays are so so developmentally stunted.

Has a prominent gay man ever come out to say that he recognizes that typical gay male behavior since the 1960's corrupts gay men's character, damages society and accelerates the decline of civilization? Instead these guys who have stayed relatively healthy into middle age just double down and plan for more sex tourism.

By contrast some of the PUA bloggers who claim they engage in promiscuity with women they don't know or care about have come around to acknowledging the validity of the wisdom traditions which disapprove of this behavior.

Unlike these straight pickup artists, I don't get the impression that gay men in general show much capacity for self-awareness or personal growth.

I think you're probably right that he did it to get back at Kris Jenner, but even that is immature and evidence of Peter Pan syndrome. I still don't buy the idea that transsexuals are turned on by being women, since they still keep a man's body irregardless of the sex hormones they take.

Haha, what bullshit those guys come up with. In reality, the PUA industry is dying, which is why they claim to have suddenly matured, though I agree with your bigger point that men are capable of personal growth.

  21. I had a straight female classmate named Caitlyn in the late 80s, but I guess she was a pretentious millennial fraud. Good to know, after all these years.

  22. it seems Jenner is what we called a transvestite back in the 80s

he is heterosexual , and is not having surgery to castrate himself, or alter his genitals. He will continue to have sex with females.

Since puberty I have found the idea of being a woman during sex (I am a guy) at time sexually arousing (I also/mostly find exciting being a guy having sex with women). As a teenager I asked myself if I was homosexual because of this, but it became clear over time that I wasn't attracted to men and am turned on by women. I have tried having sex with men, and don't enjoy kissing them or their hairy faces, etc., but I am turned on by the idea of being able to act feminine in a sexual way. I tried crossdressing but it's not a turn on. I had never heard of autogynephilia, but now that I have it all makes more sense, the fantasization that I've had. I myself have no desire to be a woman; I like being a guy.

  24. Just a quick thought, 'Kaitlyn' with a K is one of his son's girlfriend's names. How weird must that be for her, that he's 'stolen' her name? I tend to see him as autogynephilic, he's turned on by seeing himself as a woman. The Kardashian obsession with appearance and seeing yourself constantly through another's lens, photos, selfies, the media etc, can only have exacerbated this splitting of the self into the male observer and the woman who is observed. He'll regret taking it so far.
