Rice is the staple and most Thai food as well as Sushi, Teriyaki, etc are very heavy on sugar and sweeteners.

2) People in the Middle Ages may have eaten lots of meat but they also drank tons of mead/ale which is heavy in carbs. Bread was also heavily used.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19346366.post-34057091966612354082009-04-11T04:22:00.000-04:002009-04-11T04:22:00.000-04:00http://kassyk.wordpress.com/2008/11/20/new-monthly...http://kassyk.wordpress.com/2008/11/20/new-monthly-feature-girl-crush/

I added about 10 new photos...especially the one where she has not one stitch of makeup on and unlike most celebs caught makeup less still looks GORGEOUS.

Also--check out Interview--its short and even with greasy hair and all in black, Sienna Miller is strikingly gorgeous.

Or Alfie were I think a million men fell in love with her looks.

She actually reminds me a lot physically of Jean Shrimpton and Audrey and those kind of petite, wide eyed, 60s ingenues in her look...I prefer her nose though.KassyKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05859514828888662789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19346366.post-31579241422172440932009-04-11T04:08:00.000-04:002009-04-11T04:08:00.000-04:00Agnostic--What about Elizabeth Taylor--who in her ...Agnostic--What about Elizabeth Taylor--who in her teens, 20s, and 30s was arguably one of the most beautiful women in the entertainment industry? I realized not long ago that some 98% of the times I'm asked if I compete in any sports or lift weights or whatever, it's over a meal. You can only get scurvy when you eat a lot of carbs: the avalanche of glucose competes with vitamin C for access to a transporter molecule that gets either of them where they need to go.

Eskimos eating their seal and whale diet never get scurvy. But British sailors eating porridge, biscuits, and sugar, do get scurvy.

I'd suspect it was do to an infection -- not necessarily an STD, of course.

Something else I've wondered about Anne Boleyn is what accounts for her hotness. She's just about the only English woman aside from Jean Shrimpton who is good-looking.

She lived during a relatively nice period, roughly 1450 to 1550, after the Black Death and famines had cleared out a lot of Europe's population. Fewer people means each enjoys a higher standard of living, including health.agnostichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12967177967469961883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19346366.post-42378754428627482662009-04-08T22:02:00.000-04:002009-04-08T22:02:00.000-04:00You reminded me of this post about monarchs and di...You reminded me of this post about monarchs and diet.
