Sigh. I saw her on TV 20 or so years ago and was horrified at how old she looked! I was watching an old B&W movie on television after coming home from school, it was probably from the 1930's or 1940's, and I was captivated by the beauty of a young actress. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the actress or the movie. Despite my age I understood at the time that the actress was no longer young, she probably was old enough to be my grandmother, but I pushed that out of my mind.

PeterAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19346366.post-70866248580702057452010-05-26T21:11:36.080-04:002010-05-26T21:11:36.080-04:00That blonde on "The Facts of Life",

I saw her in a TV interview and was suprised by how good she looked.

The young Demi Moore and the young (when she had long blonde hair) Janine Turner were classically pretty. Demi was on soaps for a while, when she was in her real prime.

To be honest, the hottest chicks I remember from the 80's were various models in magazine ads for makeup or clothing, and a couple of gals from my school. I *dont* think the hottest women make it famous. They usually marry the best-looking guys in their high schools and get pregnant and you never hear from them again. We had a handful of insanely hot gals in my high school that I thought were prettier than anything Ive ever saw in the entertainment media up until that time. I wish I had pics of them for you, but dont. Ive spotted a few jaw-dropping beauties already this summer that made my pupils expand so rapidly it damn near made my eyes -hurt-. They are out there................

Kelly Kapowski was a baby-doll BTW. A real cutie pie, girl-next-door-type. ...Kelly Kapowski - who didn't see that coming?

I was born in '83 but I didn't really notice celebrity women until about age 12. The ones I could most remember are Alicia Silverstone, Neve Campbell, and Jennifer Aniston (it's hard to remember since she plays middle-aged single women now but her characters used to be more in the vein of the sweet, innocent type). Katie Holmes was really cute on the first season of Dawson's Creek, too. I think the current kids (not the ones who grew up in the late 90's) actually have it pretty good right now. I'd take Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift over anything from the 15 years before.

If you're going to mention Elizabeth Shue I have to point out that Claudia Wells was a way better Jennifer from Back to the Future, although she disappeared after that.Jokah Macphersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04185675633464395897noreply@blogger.com
