Aimee Terese's Tom Petty-inspired medley

Just a little serenade below Aimee Terese's barred window in Twitter jail, from tribute band Tom Petty and the Hot-Takers. (Who better for inspiring earnest reply-guy melodies?) We'll find some way to break you out, but to keep our anti-woke left princess in good spirits in the meantime...

Only had the patience to do one full song, the rest are passages assembled together in a medley.

Well she was an Australian girl
Sick of Pocahontases
She couldn't help noticing there
Was a populist desire, outside the left

After all there was the groypers' world
With alienation to undo
Yeah if she got crucified trying, she
Had one alliance she was gonna seek

Gonna post all night (gonna post all night)
She was an Australian girl

A silent Super Tuesday night
She sat alone with her laptop screen
Yeah she could see the votes roll in
Out on 538: Joe's wall remained unbreached

And for one desperate moment there
She crept back in their memories
God it's so black-pilled, when Soc-Dem is so close
And still so far out of reach

Realigning is the hardest part
Every day you mute one more 'tard
They deal in bad faith
They deal in bleeding hearts
Realigning is the hardest part

Now all the vampires at the anarchist rally
Move left down Weird Twitter Boulevard
And all the radlibs are lurking in the group chat
And the good posts are flagged by woketards

Now I'm re-, replyin'
Yeah I'm re-, replyin'

Replyin', now I'm replyin', now I'm
Replyin', now I'm replyin'

I wanna sail down Sydney Harbour
I want her avi at half-mast to fly
I'm gonna reply over and over
Gonna log off this site for awhile

Now I'm re-, replyin'
Yeah I'm re-, replyin'

  1. In other news, the latest bete noire for radlibs is Slovenian, confirming my analysis of the ethnic composition of the anti-woke left (@HeatherHabsburg on Twitter).

They're from ethnic groups who aren't specifically allocated seats at the elite table, among either the primary elites (WASPs and Ashkenazi Jews) or the secondary elites who are appointed by them ("Talented Tenth" and other model minority non-whites).

These white ethnics and Southern whites formed a bloc within the New Deal Democrat coalition, but have since broken with it. Some defected to the GOP, some are Indies, some don't care about politics, and some are wary rather than rock-solid Democrat voters.

After the New Deal broke up, wokeness took its place. And the mostly assimilated white ethnics / Southern whites got kicked out of the ethnic patronage networks sponsored by the Democrat political machines, replaced by the new ethnic minorities. So why would they bother worshiping wokeness? They have the greatest material interest in dismantling it and returning to the New Deal coalition, where they were protected and provided for.

It never stops being funny that the insane radlibs piling on the latest anti-woke target are always from elite ethnicities -- currently warring against HeatherHabsburg are Arthur Chu (Mandarin), Noah Berlatsky (Ashkenazi), Sam Pritchard (WASP), and Jaya Sundaresh (Brahmin).

Elitist tyranny is cool, as long as the elites are diverse.

  3. The tone cops on the Dirtbag Left are also from elite ethnicities in the Democrat network of ethnic patronage. From an aside to a Shialabeefsteak thread here:

    https://twitter.com/take2account/status/1221596217345499138

Discourse_Stu and rogerbellin are both Ashkenazi, and Sturgeons_Law is upper caste Indian (Syrian Christian from Kerala). Only exception is GarbageApe, who is Italian.

They're in a distinct group from the "Strasserites" (anti-woke Left) like Aimee Terese, Shialabeefsteak, Michael Tracey, who are white ethnics. Only exception there is Freddie deBoer, which is a Dutch name (WASP).

It only makes sense that, even among the Dirtbag Left -- supposedly the place where anything goes -- the tone would be policed by the elite ethnicities. They have to assert their dominance in the hierarchy and set a proper role model for their inferiors -- stiff upper lip, ironic detachment.

They're either borrowing that from the WASP culture directly, as a means of signaling their assimilation into the elite ethnic tier (cultural diffusion), or it evolved similarly within their own model minority / elite ethnic group back where they originally came from, for the same reasons it evolved among WASPs (convergent evolution).

In any case, a set of manners that means nothing to the white ethnics who have been thrown out and blocked from the elite ethnic tiers in America. They actually have something to lose or gain, so there's more of an earnest tone and urgency of action -- they cannot fall back on reserved ethnic seats at the elite table.

When the Dirtbag tone policers deflect with "why u so earnest and urgent bro?" they're signaling their own material security, based on those reserved spots. They don't have to care or get things right -- politics is a form of entertainment and courtier oneupsmanship to them.

  4. allahliker is an interesting case, a Lebanese Shia. He's generally on the ironic detachment faction of the Dirtbag Left, but he's defected when there was something big at stake for the "Strasserite" earnest & urgent faction, both involving co-ethnic Aimee Terese.

Most recently, he's been defending her pretty well after she got canceled off the platform by radlibs, in contrast to the non-responses or tepid qualified support from the irony crew.

And last summer, the Phoenician princess highlighted a case of a teacher getting fired for opining on Twitter that Trump should send ICE to round up the illegals at her school. Radlibs blew up at Aimee for defending someone who got fired for politically incorrect speech, and allahliker swooped in for the assist, admonishing the 1st amendment-hating radlibs who follow him that if you're serious about a labor movement, it's going to include a lot of people with politically incorrect ideas, and you can't let that get in the way of sticking together against the tyranny of the employer class.

He didn't even qualify it by saying, "labor activism is the best way to combat politically incorrect beliefs and speech" -- just, get used to sticking together with people whose views you may not like.

Anyway, why is he so sympathetic to the "Strasserite" faction? Because he does not get elite ethnic points -- obviously not for being Lebanese, who don't have any set asides, but not even for being a Muslim.

Through intuition or epiphany, he's found out that Shia Muslims don't get any set asides within the American imperial patronage system -- quite the opposite! If you're Lebanese Shia, the power structure in America lumps you in with Hezbollah, an endless thorn in the side of the US empire in that part of the world. And they'll lump you in the larger counter-imperial "Shia Crescent" with Iran, most of Iraq, and Yemeni Houthis.

Like bloody hell the American elites are going to reward their most dire enemies in the Middle East. That's when you learn that your brown skin or Muslim / non-Christian religion is not what gets you an ethnic elite preference here.

Rania Khalek figured that out, too. She's Lebanese Druze -- not the Israeli Druze who help administer US / Israeli occupation of Palestine.

The US elites are only going to give you special Muslim points if you're doing something for them -- Sunni fundamentalists, OK. Welcome aboard to the Islamists of CAIR or Hamas or Qatar or Turkey, as well as the outright jihadists of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and the mercenary Kurds.

They will help to legitimate the US' imperial ambitions in the MENA by painting opposition to such action as Islamophobic -- the most common case being their stance on our attempt to displace Assad in Syria, to bring about Sunni radicals in his place.

Lebanese Shia would only thwart that US imperial legitimation project, so no reserved seats at the elite table for you.

No ethnically protected status, no unalloyed support for the status quo like you find among the radlibs, who are only complaining about their Democrat patrons not funding them enough to live comfortable in their courtier zip codes. Only those ethnic groups who have been shut out from Dem machine patronage in the first place will feel motivated to attack the woke-ist status quo (or at least serve as the occasional cavalry officers when the Aimee Terese reply guy infantry are facing daunting odds).

  5. I'm not on Twitter, never have been and never will be (too gay, reflexive, and emotionally circle-jerking). "aki no kure" means "dusk in autumn," from a haiku by Basho. I'm not a Japanese lit scholar, so if I know it, other normies must as well.

  7. That surname's more WASP-y than wop-y. If he's mixed, we can tell which side predominates.
